what you need:
4 black teas bags
1 cinnamon stick
ground cinnamon for sprinkling
1 tea spoon of black peppercorns (smashed)
1 teaspoon of ground cloves
1 teaspoon of ground jamiaca allspice
1/2 teaspoon of ginger
2 tablespoons of sugar
milk (soy, almond, etc. are great too!)
what to do:
prepare a medium saucepan with 4 cups of cold water. add cinnamon stick, peppercorns, cloves, allspice, & ginger.
bring to a boil then turn off heat.
add tea bags & let steep for 5 minutes.
in a separate saucepan, heat 2 cups of milk. add sugar and whisk until frothy.
take out tea bags after 5 minutes & let sit for 3 minutes.
fill your four mugs 3/4 of the way & pour about 1/4 of a cup of the milk in each mug. sprinkle ground cinnamon on top.
A wonderful morning blend of spices & warm sweet milk. Amazingly easy.
