2 pita bread
salt & pepper
what to do
heat oven to 350º
cut pita bread in half. slice figs into small pieces. slice onions.
heat pan with oil & cook onions until soft. season with salt & pepper.
coat pita bread with olive oil. add onions on top.
add figs, prosciutto & a small sprinkle of thyme.
place in oven for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
to make the balsamic glaze. heat pan with about a cup of balsamic vinegar. add about a 1/4 cup of brown sugar & cook until the glaze thickens.
when pitas are cooked add goat cheese, & drizzle with glaze.
